Our History

“Innvotec has over 20 years experience in investing and providing financial support for private companies generally and SME’s specifically.

Historically Innvotec has always provided funding for start up and early stage businesses, most often for companies in the broadly-based technology sectors. Until recently its funds for investment have come exclusively from institutional investors, corporates, local government authorities and the EU. In recent years these traditional sources of funds have been supplemented by EIS Funds and the newly launched “Bonds for Business”.

In the current fast-moving world, the skill sets needed for successful venture investing have evolved and to deliver the returns demanded by investors, Innvotec has itself evolved in the way it does business. Today its prime focus is to effectively “mentor” emerging groups “Innvotec’s Partners” who seek to raise and manage funds but who do not have the necessary skills or approvals to do so. These funds can be invested into or loaned to SMEs and private companies.

The Company continues to be independent with ownership in the hands of the directors.
