3en is the division of Innvotec that manages funds on behalf of local authorities for direct investment in their boroughs.
The initial 3en Fund was committed to by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. It is the UK’s first-and-only local authority venture capital fund with a specific remit to invest risk capital in local early stage companies operating in ICT markets.
Its core aim is to assist in the transformation of innovative technology into sustainable, high growth businesses.
An active investor – providing both capital and highly targeted management resource and mentoring
The Fund is currently fully invested.
