Innvotec's clients have traditionally been venture capital limited partnerships and investment in these partnerships has been from a combination of pension funds, corporates, clearing banks and European initiatives.
The investment remit has ranged from global to national to regional but always the targeted investee has been in the technology sector, with the exception of biotechnology, and iinitial nvestment has always taken place when the investee was at start-up or at an early-stage.
Innvotec has invested in more than eighty companies and our experience shows that not all venture capital success is instantaneous and only now are some of our earliest portfolio companies starting to create the value that was envisaged many years ago.
As part of its own diversification strategy, Innvotec has expanded its "permitted business" to embrace the retail sector and is now an established manager of EIS Funds.
